Director’s Words

My enduring passion for teaching has been a constant in my life since childhood. From engaging friends and family in concept guidance and enjoyable read-along sessions, this cherished ritual extended through my student years and persisted even after marriage, when I took on the role of educating my own children. 

 Throughout this journey, there was a consistent desire within me to contribute to the field of education. Recognizing this enthusiasm, my father, Mr. Boorugu Muralidhar, encouraged me to pursue my teaching dreams, emphasizing that it’s a gift that keeps on giving. When I decided to make teaching my profession, my life partner became my unwavering anchor, providing steadfast support as I explored opportunities and fulfilled my dream of establishing “Little Hearts.” 

Fueled by my passion for teaching, I founded the home-based preschool and daycare, “Little Hearts,” in Redmond, WA, in 2017. The pursuit of knowledge led me to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the “Lake Washington Institute of Technology.” Armed with a master’s in Business Administration, considerable business acumen, and strong family support, I furthered my impact by opening a center-based preschool in Kirkland in the summer of 2021. 

Now, with the success of “Little Hearts Preschool and Daycare” in Redmond and “Little Hearts Academy” in Kirkland, I eagerly look forward to expanding into additional locations. My goal is to provide more opportunities for children in the community, fostering growth and learning in a nurturing environment.
